Making a calculator is not the most impressive software project and I absolutely agree! That is why when my Android class (University of Utah) was tasked with making one for our first assignment, mine had to be very, very good.
Scream Louder is a mobile application I wrote and designed for Android. It was a final project for my Mobile Applications class at the University of Utah. We were given creative freedom to create what ever we wanted, so I decided to create a personal safety app with a unique twist.
BluePrint is my senior project for my Computer Science undergrad degree. It is an Indoor Navigation System using Bluetooth LE beacons. I could not be more excited about working on such a complex and unique idea with three other friends.
Random Abs is my first real attempt at creating a web application. It simply creates a new, randomized ab exercise routine each day. Leading up to this I was still in the beginning stages of self-learning some basic html, css, and some very, very basic PHP. Actually, the only way I knew to use PHP at first was to reuse my same header and footer file on each page.
At the University of Utah, there is a jobs board managed by the CS department. I had a little extra time on my hands at one point, so I checked it out. A PHD student in the School of Dance was looking for a site to showcase her work, so I contacted her, took the job, and created WynPottratz.org.
Jixxit was my outlet for wanting to play around with some PHP cryptography stuff. At the time I did this, I was sill learning some basic HTML, so putting together a little front end for my tests was a fun addition.
Usually when my family is asleep and I am not being pressed with homework, I will work on one of my ongoing projects. But sometimes I just need to try something new. One of these nights led me to start putting together textFAKE.
